Our love story….
I was on a night out in Auckland and my husband Simon was on a guys night out. We saw each other on the dance floor, I went over to him and the rest is history! We instantly started spending all our time together. Fast forward 10 and a half years later and we finally got hitched. We did have to postpone due to covid but our day ended up being the most magical day.
We got married at Te Miro Woolshed. We had views of the Kaimai Ranges in the background, a popular hunting spot for Simon. It was important to us to have a very relaxed feel for our wedding. Our relationship is filled with adventures like camping so Being out in the country was most definetly us. temirowoolshed.
The rain on the day fitted perfectly with the rustic theme and colours we uses and made for some awesome photos! Our photographer was Holly Shin and done the most amazing job. hollyshinphotography
Hair was Hannah from Dededaph in Hamilton and makeup was Sam Hart from Auckland. My bridesmaids and myself loved them both so much! dededaph & samhart
My bouquets were made by my bridesmaids and were mainly all found around the gardens where we were staying.
My experience with bridal brilliance was awesome, I don’t have a bad word to say about it. I came in with my bridesmaids and we had bubbles while I tried on all the dresses and styles until I found my dream dress. The ladies were so helpful and friendly and we felt so relaxed there.
I then came back a few weeks later with my mum to try on one last time and agreed it was the perfect dress for me. From start to finish the service and experience was so good. I would definitley reccomend bridal brilliance to everyone.

Our wedding was on the 29th of October 2022 at Mudbrick Vineyard on Waiheke. It was a rainy day but that did not stop us from enjoying every second of it. https://mudbrick.co.nz/ My husband and I met as teenagers on Christmas eve
