Our wedding was on the 29th of October 2022 at Mudbrick Vineyard on Waiheke. It was a rainy day but that did not stop us from enjoying every second of it. https://mudbrick.co.nz/
My husband and I met as teenagers on Christmas eve in Hong Kong. We were both there on holiday and met each other through mutual friends. From then on, we grew up from teens to adults, achieving our milestones in life side by side. We built a life together and became best friends, partners, cat parents and now husband and wife.
Bridal Brilliance was where I found my dream wedding dress. At my first appointment, I must have tried on 10 + dresses. Juliet was helping me and I never felt rushed. She was sweet, enthusiastic and knowledgeable in guiding me through the overwhelming sea of dresses. I narrowed it down to two dresses and came back for a second appointment a week later which was free of charge. Surprisingly I did not end up choosing either of the two dresses as something was not quite right. I asked Juliet if there were any others and if it was possible to try on just one more. I tried on Allure 9810 and that was it. It was perfect, elegant, timeless and everything I wanted. Massive thank you for the Bridal Brilliance team for making me feel so comfortable and looked after through this entire process. I have been to multiple wedding dress shops before but Bridal Brilliance had the best service out there. They also recommended Alter Me for alterations who also did an amazing job with my dress.

Other wedding vendors we used were Esme and Logan for photo + video. They were a joy to work with from our engagement shoot to our wedding day. They instantly made us feel at ease and as a result all our photos look so natural. We are so happy how our highlight photos turned out even though it was rainy and gloomy that day. They are both so passionate and hard-working, we cannot wait to see the rest of our photos and videos. https://esmeandlogan.com/
Our florist was Ruby Lou. I met Ruby at the Auckland plant market and was instantly obsessed with her style and floral arrangements. In particular her roses with the petals peeled back. The flowers looked beautiful on the day and she really nailed the vibe I was going for. I wanted a neutral palate with hints of blush and lilacs and minimal foliage. Communication was stellar and we were messaging up until the day before the wedding. I loved my bouquet so much I am having it preserved. https://www.rubyloufloral.com/
Bridesmaid’s dresses were from Billy J which has a ton of variety to choose from.
Groom’s Tuxedo was from Joe Black at David Jones. It was a perfect fit and no alterations was needed for my husband.
Groomsmen also had tuxedos and they were hired from Rembrant.
Decor hire was from MyWaiheke. We kept our decor minimal as the venue was so beautiful already, we kept it at candles and garden flowers in glass vases for the reception. https://mywaiheke.co.nz/
Celebrant was Helen Oakes. She is a Waiheke local and was so sweet and lovely. We were really happy with her leading our ceremony.

Photobooth was Snap Click. It was a major hit with all our guests.

All in all it was our dream wedding!
Grace & Cameron
Cameron and I meet in high school in 2014. We shared the same science class. I was a ‘treat em mean keep em keen’ kinda girl, yet Cameron was a little softie. I may have been a bit too mean
