Sophie & Caleb

Sophie & Calebs story. We were both studying at Otago University, and first met at a flat party in 2017.  My flatmate introduced me to Caleb, who she went to highschool with. A few months later, we saw each other at the uni gym. I went home, and told my flatmate I’d seen her friend at the gym. She randomly decided to send Caleb a snapchat of me with quotation marks ” I saw your friend at the gym”. Caleb knew something was up and was advised by a friend he should ‘poke’ me on facebook.  And I guess it worked out pretty well! A fb poke war began, and we’ve been together ever since. Bridal Brilliance was the first bridal gown shop I booked a consultation with. I was blown away by the range of dresses, and started by trying on the dresses I’d admired on their website. Turns out none of these dresses suited me, and I was so thankful, Kelly (BB assistant) was there to help me figure out which styles suited my body shape the best. Kelly picked out one of her favourite dresses, and encouraged me to try it on. I immediately fell in love with it, and knew it was going to be very hard for any other dress to beat it. I only went to one other bridal shop (no such luck) before returning to BB to try on my favourite dress again and purchase it! I couldn’t believe how reasonably priced the dress was. The BB team contacted me a few months later once my dress had arrived, where I got to try it on again (with my bridesmaids there this time), and pick out a veil. They also provided me with an amazing recommendation of where I could get the dress hemmed and taken in slightly. We had the most amazing day at KBB on the 13th May, managing to luck some sun in the miserable Auckland weather. We can’t thank our vendors enough for pulling together a day we will never forget.
